Makmur Amanah Sejahtera We are a company specializing in alternative animal feed, utilizing palm kernel meal (PKE) as a byproduct of palm oil processing. We recognize that Indonesia is one of the largest producers of palm oil in the world, reaching 3.5 million tons in February 2022. This production accounts for nearly 50% of the global palm oil supply. However, along with palm oil (CPO) production, a significant amount of waste is generated, which is often discarded and pollutes the environment. It is common to find liquid and solid waste from palm oil mills in nearby rivers, which can disrupt the ecosystem of plants and animals. One of the byproducts of palm oil production is palm kernel expeller (PKE), also known as palm kernel meal. Research shows that PKE is rich in nutrients and can be used as animal feed. Meanwhile, the demand for animal feed in Indonesia continues to grow. According to data from the Indonesian Feed Producers Association, the feed demand reached 15 million tons in 2017 and increased to 20 million tons by 2020. Given these two factors, the utilization of palm oil processing waste as high-nutrient animal feed raw material is a viable solution. Makmur Amanah Sejahtera aims to address the issues of palm oil processing waste in Indonesia while also meeting the ever-growing demand for animal feed. With an established distribution system, waste that was once of little value now holds a high market price. Currently, the demand for palm oil byproducts comes not only from local markets but also from several other advanced countries seeking allocations of PKE.

So far, Makmur Amanah Sejahtera has implemented a B2B sales model, where the consumers are animal feed factories in East Java, and has supplied more than 1,600 tons 1600 ton of palm kernel meal. Makmur Amanah Sejahtera has also diversified its product line to enhance its approach to consumers, particularly local farmers. The product range is divided into three categories: Bunggas (palm kernel meal for poultry), Bungan (palm kernel meal for fish), and Bungur (palm kernel meal for ruminants).
